Their server can be considered a semi-public server, meaning you guys can just pop in anytime and play public games. They only lock it up for scrims or internal training etc...


And some helpful hints about promod live.... some changes you might not know about, from the normal ones tat is already well known:

1) nade cooking removed (which sucks, makes no sense why they shd remove it, not like its very exploitable, guess they wan to force ppl to use their guns to kill more)
2) smg range dropped, at long range onli 8 dmg, so switch to deagle for sniping (in the past 74u are such uber snipers its no joke)

and the usual suspects:

No sniper gun sway
Removal of all LMG, snipers other than m40a3 and r700, p90 etc
Perks are fixed as stopping power and deep impact
no tube, rpg, clay, c4, stun nades, reddot, acog
glitches are allowed =D
10second prenades are allowed, and trust me tfk will sure spam them =D
Limit of classes per team of 5 (1 sniper 1 shotty 3 smg, assault unlimited)

Zzzzz This promod mod creator really wants to play CS in COD 4

If they remove health regeneration for the next version it will really become damn alike to CS already. But cannot blame them lar, CS was balanced primarily for competitve play also, and it worked.... While things like tube and clay and some perks i can understand needs to be cut in order for balancing purposes, this nade cook thing dosen't please me at all too =D Perhaps cause in older promods i get more kills thanks to a properly cooked nade. Noob in shooting lar. Now ppl entrenched in a camping spot only way is to flash and rush in.


OOOH i forgot, when people learnt promod live disabled nade cook some practised nade cook the hard way by throwing nade on the floor count 1,2 then pick up and throw at enemy. Guess what, picking up nade is disabled too =D So, you can still throw the nade at an enemy camp spot, that will force him to run away. Though I very much prefer being able to nade cook, I personally have never been able to successfully pick up a a nade and throw it away in older promod games...
